Urethane adhesive needs warmth and moisture to cure. It’s a lot like a fresh flood on the rink: skate on it too soon and the ice is wrecked. A rushed bond might not hold when an airbag fires, and many passenger airbags push off the glass.
So every job happens in a heated shop, and the safe drive-away time goes on every work order. In our shop it’s usually 1 to 2 hours. Out in a yard at minus 25, it could be a lot longer.
